New Jersey Firemen's Home Museum is n. on Washington St., then .7 mi. e. to 565 Lathrop Ave. The two-story museum, housed in a brick building dating from 1878, stands on an 88-acre site. It features artifacts and memorabilia from fire companies throughout the state, including antique fire trucks, hose carts, tools and uniforms as well as awards and medals.
The Firemen's Home was established in the early 1900s and serves as a residence for the state's aged and disabled firefighters.
