Garden State Discovery Museum is at 2040 Springdale Rd., Suite 100. More than 20 interactive exhibit areas provide an entertaining and educational experience for children, especially for ages 1-10. The exhibits include re-creations of a diner, farmers market, newsroom, veterinary hospital, restaurant construction site, newspaper office and a miniature Philadelphia Flyers hockey rink. Other features include a rock wall, puppet shows, face painting and a variety of hands-on activities. There also is a collection of reptiles, insects and fish. The Little Discoveries area, which has a farmhouse and a barn, is suitable for toddlers under age 4.
