This restaurant borrows its name from the greatest of the grand Moghul emperors who ruled India in the sixteenth century. He was famous for the splendor of his table, and here those splendors are of the Northern Indian variety where tandoori (clay oven cooking) reigns supreme. The calm and attractive dining room, with illuminated stained glass, a trickling fountain and fresh flowers, together with polished service, make for a royal dining experience. Lunch specials here are highly recommended.
