Would have been “Great” if...
Pros: The room looked brand new, very clean, nice sized flat screen internet TVs in both living room space & bedroom. The mirror light in the bathroom, the very big & brand new looking refrigerator, the fact that it was truly like a “home” away from home in the sense that they had an on site laundromat & the King studio was spacious & the kitchen offered all the amenities to cook up your own meal even if desired. Also liked the Salt water pool, thought that was different.
Cons: The pool area was cold, pool temp read 85 but didn’t feel like it, the internet connection was horrible, internet tv but what’s the use if after I signed in to my Netflix after taking more than 5 minutes the show keptFreezing up & stopping & playing in low quality!? & the most of all thing that almost ruined my whole stay & made my girlfriend & I really wanted to Cancel our Stay & demand a refund despite my knowledge of booking a non refundable rate from Booking.com was honestly the only reason I drove from Queens NY to the property in the horrible storm Sunday night that cancelled our plans to go to Six Flags Great Adventure which is close to this property, an hour & 15 minute drive turned into almost a 2 hour drive & then to top this off when I get to the property, first off there’s no one at the desk in plain site, after maybe 3 minutes an older lady comes out & she’s wiping herself, says she was eating & apologizes, I showed her my booking.com confirmation from my Iwallet (iPhone wallet app) and my ID & credit card I used to book the room just as I have in Hilton Baltimore, Hotel Victor Miami, Comfort Suites Philadelphia, etc.. and I’ve never had any problems with Booking.com at all ever! & this Lady by name of Carol told me she could not find my reservation, I went into my emails read her the booking confirmation showed her the confirmation that popped up on my app several times & she said she couldn’t find it, said booking may have put it under a wrong name, I explained no there isn’t a way, I’ve booked with booking so many times in past & never had this issue. She asks if I have a customer service number for booking, she says booking is a company owned by Expedia, she was going to call them & try & settle this, as we were on hold she’s making conversation with my girlfriend & I, I’m pissed & confused & trying to reach Booking.
