Liberty State Park is off New Jersey Tpke. exit 14B at Audrey Zapp Dr. and Phillip St. This urban park faces Liberty Island, site of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and offers a view of the New York City skyline. Facilities include a bicycle trail; an interpretive center; a playground; and Liberty Walk, a 1.3-mile promenade lining the harbor. The pathway leads to the historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal, from which early settlers departed.
Statue Cruises makes daily trips to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
