Historic Burlington County Prison Museum is at 128 High St. The museum's interior still looks much the same as it did during its years as a prison. Exhibits includes a re-created warden's office and adjacent home, a maximum-security cell and a kitchen. One display details changes to American prison cells throughout history. Architect Robert Mills also designed several Washington, D.C.-area buildings as well as the Washington Monument. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
$4; $2 (ages 55+ and students with ID); free (ages 0-4).
Hours: Thurs.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. noon-4. Closed major holidays.
