Newark Public Library

Newark Public Library is at 5 Washington St. opposite Washington Park. One of the largest public libraries in the state and a major resource center, it has large collections of material about the history of the city and state. Also housed in the 1901 building are more than 1 million books, pictures and periodicals. Changing exhibits are presented regularly.
