My wife and i drove to Newark from Toronto and stayed here, it was a 8 min walk to The Path (Newark Penn Station). Which worked perfectly for us as we went to explore NYC. The area was a little sketchy when we first arrived there were 4 police care outside of the hotel when some sort of assault happened man was lying on the ground and another man in handcuffs. I would recommend this hotel to people traveling in a large group, but the hotel did offer a shuttle service to and from Penn Station which was awesome. Hotel staff for the most part were friendly and the restaurant downstairs is pricey but good.
Pros: Breakfast in the morning was awesome
Cons: Location was kind of sketchy.
