At dusk in Autumn, the drive through the nature preserve to the restaurant is worth the trip in itself as the golden-hued scenery is just gorgeous.

This upscale restaurant is on the grounds of a spectacular estate inside the richly sprawling Natirar nature preserve. The dinner menu here is seasonally focused, with high-quality proteins like wild sea bass, Long Island duck or Colorado lamb; fresh local produce is partly sourced from the estate's own farms and greenhouses. The artisan-crafted wood and stone dining room with adjacent outdoor patio have a relaxed West Coast sophistication, and the refined service is diligent but not stuffy. The bucolic park setting and nearby mansion on the grounds are popular for weddings. There is an outdoor seating area which has fire pits to help drive the evening chill from the air. Deer can be seen grazing and frolicking in the nearby park as the the sun begins to set.
