Atlantic County Historical Society

Atlantic County Historical Society is at 907 Shore Rd. (CR 585). A 20,000-item collection includes Native American stone implements, weapons, furniture and turn-of-the-20th-century clothing. Shipbuilding, one of Atlantic County's major 19th-century industries, is represented by boat models, paintings and tools. The historical society's library is open to the public for genealogical research and local history.
