I am enamored with this sophisticated suburban hotspot for both the inviting, authentic 1930s mood, and for the superbly mixed specialty coctails.
AAA Inspector Notes
In downtown Somerville, this authentic Prohibition-era establishment has had a splendid rebirth thanks to proprietor Rick St. Pierre and his talented team. The cuisine is French-inspired American cuisine which does not stray far from the tried and true but throws in enough twists to keep it interesting. Ahi tuna with foie gras, lamb shank in a marrow demi glacé and pan-seared duck breast with morello cherry sauce all stand out. A resident mixologist keeps the bar humming.
