Tuckerton Seaport is s. of jct. CR 539 and SR 9 at 120 W. Main St. This 40-acre site brings to life the history and heritage of the Jersey shore. Restored and re-created structures include a clamming shack, a hunting shanty, decoy-carving shops and boat works.
A replica of Tucker's Island Lighthouse displays permanent and temporary exhibits. The Tuckerton Yacht Club also houses interpretive exhibits. Two other buildings—one featuring the history of South Jersey Shore hotels and resorts and the other showcasing an extensive decoy collection—are on site. Boat tours are offered May through August.
