Tucumcari Historical Museum

Tucumcari Historical Museum is at 416 S. Adams St. A 1903 schoolhouse contains three floors of regional artifacts and memorabilia. Thematic exhibits include a pioneer kitchen, general store, bunkhouse, courthouse room, barn, firehouse with a 1926 fire truck and a tribute to the Armed Forces. Native landscaping surrounds the museum and provides the setting for outdoor exhibits, among them a railroad caboose.
