Cobblestone Society Museum is at jct. SRs 104 and 98 at 14389 Ridge Rd. This collection of seven historic buildings includes three cobblestone structures: an 1834 church, an 1836 parsonage once owned by Horace Greeley and a one-room schoolhouse built in 1849. Four frame buildings house blacksmith, harness and print shops as well as 19th- and 20th-century farming tools and implements. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
$8; $6 (ages 55+ and retired military with ID); $3 (students ages 6-21 with ID); free (active military with ID).
Hours: Wed.-Fri. 11-5, Sat.-Sun. 1-5, Mother's Day to Columbus Day; by appointment rest of year. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
