When traveling on the East End of Long Island, I always stop here for the best tasting hot lobster roll and fresh native seafood.
AAA Inspector Notes
Classic. A seasonal institution, this local favorite is lovingly called lunch by those in the know. It may not look like much more than an old roadside seafood stand, but it is charming. Sit in the plastic-enclosed porch with flower baskets, hanging plants and red-and-white checkered tablecloths. The lobster roll is good, as are the fried oyster, clam roll, fish and chips, blue-claw crab cakes, marinated charbroiled fish and the puffers (tempura blowfish, fins and all). The pie is worth the splurge.
