AAA Inspector Notes
Rooms feature stylish, commercial-grade laminate flooring as well as small desks and flat-panel TVs. Ground-floor rooms offer the additional convenience of at-door parking. Budget rates account for the lack of additional amenities. Public areas are minimal, a breakfast is not offered and standard rooms lack hair dryers, irons and coffeemakers. For a higher rate, the deluxe, superior and premium rooms offer upgraded amenities, including microwave ovens and mini fridges. Smoke free premises. 108 units. 2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors.

It was fine.
Pros: They had a sign in the lobby that said "If you can't give us five stars, let us know so we can fix the problem." When we discovered that our TV remote didn't work we called the desk and someone brought us a different one right away. If it wasn't for that sign we would have probably suffered in silence and then given them a bad review. A friendly Pizza/Pub Food restaurant was within walking distance--just the thing after a day of driving.Near the University.
Cons: I wish they served breakfast.

Pros:
Cons: The room was way to small! Ok, no frig or microwave, but no hair dryer?? And, why would you put the smoking dispensary right outside a "100% smoke-free" room?? So I can smell others smoking outside my door. That's twice red roof has let me down

Pros: Clean, tidy, well appointed...a very good option for a budget hotel. Located centrally on 'hotel row' near shopping, restaurants and University of Buffalo.
Cons: - Single female travelers should be close to main office for safety; my room was rather isolated and far away - Since there is no food service onsite, a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge in the room would be helpful

Pros: The location is great. However, the room was musty. Very stingy on supplies and towels. I expected hardwood floor (from the description) but half of the space was carpeted. There wasn't a fridge or kettle.
Cons: In the room. we found a note saying that for an upgrade, we can have a fridge, microwave oven, etc. Why aren't these part of the standard room? The place is actually a very basic motel. It seems ridiculous to pay more for this "upgrade."
