Pros: The grounds and garden were lovely. The food and service at La Perla were great. Staff was very attentive. Room decor was cozy.
Cons: Matters was a little uncomfortable and room and bathroom were a bit dark.
Cons: Old house - musty mildew odor. Found I am not a bed & breakfast person
Pros: The staff were very polite, but stretched thin. The rooms were kept very clean.
Cons: The furnishings were very outdated. My mattress was very firm. The bathroom had very poor water pressure. And after showering realized it would not drain.
Pros: The room was nice, the theme made it feel cozy and comfortable. It was clean and very pleasant.
Cons: The bathtub had a mysterious leak on the floor, we felt bad that the floor was getting wet each time we turned on the shower.
Cons: Dining was overpriced! My tv did not work
Pros: The owner Anna and her staff were incredible!
The newly added outside patio was mighty refreshing. The morning continental breakfast was fresh with muffins and fruit.
Pros: It was quite, clean, there was a friendly staff.
The breakfast was good and plentiful.
Cons: I was disappointed the pool was closed.
family with older children
Pros: We loved the coziness of the place. The staff was really friendly.
Cons: It was a little musty when you first go into the room but with air on it dissipates quickly.

Pros: Restaurant on-site, good steak, good wifi connection
Cons: Very uncomfortable bed, low quality breakfast, host didn't even manage a "good morning"
Pros: The facility was very clean - Excellent mattress
Cons: Poor lighting - No cold water available from faucet - poor shower facilities
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: There was no physical presence. The restaurant was closed and after we checked in we never saw another person. Breakfast was not impressive. Really expected more than packaged sweet rolls and old coffee. Especially from an italian restaurant.
Pros: beautiful fall leaves across the property,
onsight restaurant bar makes nighttime drinks/dessert possible, lovely bakery next door
Cons: staff professionalism is poor at inn & restaurant (ex: staff engrossed in personal conversations & work complaints, neglecting customer needs), breakfast is very simple (not cooked), hallway was very noisy, waking us at wee hours several times. a stay like this should come at a lower price.
Pros: My husband and I got way more than we bargained for. The staff was like family. The food was incredible. The owners were the most wonderful hosts. La Perla is beyond immaculate and the decor of each room (decorated by Anna Maria, the owner) is so warm and tasteful. Alfonso, the owner, is a chef of unbelievable talent. You will not get Italian food like this unless you go to Italy. We can't wait to return!!!!
