AAA Inspector Rating Details (scale 1-5)
AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Eclectic/Unusual): I would want to stay twice to enjoy both sophisticated experiences of the historic 1842 main inn and the exquisite modern cottage buildings.
Lovely, private grounds surround the historic main house and contemporary cottages. Popular with leisure travelers, this property is in an ideal location for all that the Hamptons has to offer. Divided into multiple buildings, guests can choose to stay in the historic main house, cottage or studio room in the modern exterior sections. All guest rooms and suites offer plush bedding with Frette linens and luxurious amenities including rain shower heads. The inn is also a functioning art gallery, therefore the intriguing art throughout the public spaces and rooms are constantly revolving. Very high end pieces noted. If you are a light sleeper, be aware that the main building is close to a busy intersection. All guest rooms receive a beach pass for an ocean beach that is 2.5 miles away.
Smoke free premises. 22 units, some cottages. 2-3 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
