- the washroom in my room kept leaking, called twice to get it fixed and it still wasn't done properly. 2nd time calling waited over an hour before someone came

Pros: I chose the Indigo because the rate was great. The location is near a subway stop which was convenient. I enjoyed using the gym and felt it was very clean.
Cons: The bed was really creaky and uncomfortable. Also, the standard room was a bit small for two people. There was only space to fit a nightstand on one side of the bed which was annoying.

Cons: We reserved Two Queen size beds and received two Double Beds, Making sleeping very uncomfortable for our family. There was also Mold on the shower door. They also do not hold your room reservations for you even when you pay a deposit. It's a first come first serve Hotel, which I find to be unexpectable, when you have customers who is flying in on a 7-8 hour flight with a three hour time change and 2 hour lay over caused by the airline. When a customers pays for one night a head of time they could at least hold the room for you. I don't think I will stay at this hotel again

Pros: Great location in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. Eventhough we were surounded by construction, we didn't hear it in our room. Helpfull staff, especialy front desk. Beutiful decor in rooms and Very good shower. Walking distance from Brooklyn Bridge and several subway lines nearby.

Pros: We had an issue with a leak in the room and Breaun at the front desk was very helpful along with the other front desk staff even after she left. We were immediately accommodated with a new room and someone from the front called a few hours later to make sure that we settled okay.

Pros: I like that Indigo Hotels are style conscious. The best thing I can say is that the price was reasonable.
Cons: We really needed a mini bar fridge to keep leftovers fresh. The floor still had debris on it after the cleaners came. A tub would have made our stay feel less bare bones economy level.

Pros: Everything was great except for the postage stamp size of the room.
Cons: The room was way too small!!!! There was no room to put our suitcases except on the floor, which was so close to the bed , it was nearly impossible to get into it. The tiny room had a Q bed, where a twin would have allowed for breathing space. The room is the size of most walk-in closets. Very disappointed.

Pros: It's a nice location in downtown Brooklyn.
Cons: When I checked in it was the hottest day in NYC's summer. My room was not only the size of a closet, but the AC was broken. It was humid and at least 80 degrees in the room, humid, zero air flow, bolted shut Windows , I could hardly breath . I called the front desk right away and they said they wouldn't switch my room because they didn't have another available. They said they would send a Maintenance man in the morning. This was my 2nd time staying here so I knew the room size was not their standard and asked to be moved to another room. They did change my room the next day however I felt I should have had the first night free as sleeping in that room after a 13 hour flight was a horrible experience. They refused, and charged me anyway. I would have been better off sleeping on a park bench. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Pros: Staff was very helpful and courteous. They could not assist us with a 7:30am check-in and we actually had to wait until 1pm for our room, but it is through no fault of their own, as they mentioned they were very occupied the night before. They knew we had just drove 7.5 hours to get to Brooklyn and were exhausted, but tried their best to get a room ready for us. After they called us and we finally got into this nice room (room was small but was expected from reading other reviews and was not an issue, actually liked the size), they called to make sure everything was acceptable. That impressed us more than anything. A+ for the staff, room was very clean, really love the bathroom and shower. It was worth $130 for the night.
Cons: The building is a bit smushed onto this block with contruction. Shouldn't be too hard to find with GPS. No parking on site and valet is $45, but the nearest parking garage isn't too far. Just go in and ask the front desk where it is first, not sure if anyone else would have this issue but my gps kept taking me in circles while looking for the parking garage.

Pros: The staff at this hotel are amazing - friendly, helpful and professional.
Cons: The individual bedside reading lamps didn't work, the sheets did not seem clean on one of the beds, the bathroom seemed dark and there were no cups or glasses in the room - just two coffee mugs filled with tea bags, sweetener packs, etc and no idea how long they had been sitting there. The rooms are small and have funky photographs wallpapered to the ceilings.
