If given one last meal before leaving Brooklyn, this fish eatery might be my choice. Lobster roll and fresh broiled fish in an old shack by the bay.
AAA Inspector Notes
A short distance off the highway, this classic South Brooklyn seafood eatery is simple in décor but has a good variety of fresh lobsters, local shellfish, and fish fillets. There is a small fish store in the back of the restaurant, opened in the 1930s. Fish and chips—either fried or broiled—shrimp scampi, Long Island oysters, stellar lobster rolls, crab legs and the well-priced whole lobsters are standouts. The eatery has a fair selection of wines and beers.
