AAA Editor Notes
Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum is at 295 N. Main St. This restored 1816 Federal-style homestead was built by Gideon Granger, U.S. postmaster general under Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The Carriage Museum has more than 90 horse-drawn vehicles made or used in the region 1810-1920.

Guided tours are available.

$6; $5 (ages 62+); $2 (ages 5-16).

Guided tours of the house and museum are available Thurs.-Sat. 11-5, Sun. and Tues.-Wed. 1-5, May-Oct. Last tour departs 2 hours before closing. Closed major holidays.
