quiet, large rooms; not far from downtown Cooperstown; indoor pool right off lobby (nice if you don't want to feel isolated)
Pros: reasonable price
Cons: breakfast - premade omelets, oatmeal in packets with hot water substituting for non-existent microwave, small (6 ounce) yogurts. Admittedly, this seems to be standard for non-luxury hotels. This one feature almost makes B&Bs a more attractive option.

Clean, spacious rooms. While the hotel is adjacent to a shopping center, the rooms in the rear face a large field and are quiet, (although walls seem a bit thin) except after 9am when a sawmill within earshot resumes operations. The indoor pool is right off the lobby. The free breakfast is probably the weakest link, although typical of a lot of chain motels: pre-made omelets, DIY waffles, packaged hot cereal mix that depends on using hot water instead of a non-existent microwave, and thawed-out pastries. Thank goodness they offered yogurts (most people took two containers as they were only 6 ounces.) For the price and location 5 miles from downtown Cooperstown, this place is worth it.
Pros: rooms and location
Cons: food

Pool was small and right in the lobby. Hotel has 2 buildings the larger rooms are in the 2nd bldg. hallways and entranceway needed cleaning and vacuuming. Beds not comfortable, rooms were somewhat dated. Toilet backed up on our last day. Breakfast sub par.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and accomodating.
Pros: The size of the room. The cleanliness of the room.
Cons: We stayed in a second building so we had to walk in rain to the pool and breakfast. The indoor pool was small and very warm. The lobby of the second building had sticky floors, so did the elevator. It must be pet friendly because there was dog feces on the sidewalk leading into the second building.
