Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is .7 mi. s.w. off SR 218 at 25 Boulevard. The museum is devoted to the natural and cultural history of the Hudson Valley. Changing exhibits are highlighted at the Ogden Gallery in the Wildlife Education Center. Visitors can experience hands-on natural history displays and see live animals, including frogs, turtles, snakes, chipmunks and birds. Hike on trails through wetlands and forest at the Outdoor Discovery Center, a separate area covering 177 acres at 100 Muser Dr., which also offers Grasshoppers Grove, a children's nature play area.
