Ward Pound Ridge Reservation is a 4,315-acre park and wildlife sanctuary. Hiking, skiing trails and a 1-acre wildflower garden are available. Plant, animal and Native American artifact displays are in the Trailside Nature Museum. The Works Progress Administration Gallery and Gallery in the Park both host changing exhibits of photographs, paintings and other works.
Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
