AAA Editor Notes
Crown Point State Historic Site is 7.5 mi. n.e. at the New York end of the Lake Champlain Bridge. The site contains the preserved ruins of fortifications used during the French and Indian and Revolutionary wars. A museum has a multimedia audiovisual show, history and archeology exhibits that focus on the 1734 French Fort St. Frederic and the 1759 British fort at Crown Point.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
