AAA Editor Notes

Delaware County Historical Association, 2.5 mi. n.e. on SR 10, features seven historic buildings. Included are the 1797 Frisbee House and a barn, one-room schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, 19th-century gun shop and turnpike tollhouse as well as the Christian Church at Fitch's Bridge. Changing art and history exhibits are shown in two galleries. The complex also houses a research library and the Frisbee family cemetery. A half-mile nature trail is available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.

Hours: Galleries and buildings open Tues.-Sun. 11-4, Memorial Day-Oct. 15. Galleries also open Mon.-Fri. 10-3, rest of the year. Library open Tues.-Wed. 10-3, year-round. Closed major holidays.
