Pros: The continental breakfast and service was wonderful and the staff provided beach umbrella, water bottle plus the invaluable pass to Main Beach East Hampton which is only a short distance from the Maidstone...
Cons: Because the Maidstone has a lovely restaurant and garden there is no avoiding that there will be foot traffic and noise at certain times of the day.

Pros: This legendary East Hampton Inn was a treat to visit, in all of its eclectic, elegant, Bohemian, off season Glory! The quirky artsy interior design of antiques and modern Scandinavian and Nordic Classics combined with current new design, contrasting with captivating oversized contemporary photography, was interesting and enticing at nearly every juncture
Cons: as anyone who has chosen to live in an old home knows, the charm, quirkiness and character of 200 year old architecture may require some Grace as you tend to necessary repairs. however that being said everything was in excellent condition with the exception of drainage in the bathroom sink and shower.
