The Hyde Collection Art Museum & Historic House is at 161 Warren St. The complex encompasses an historic house and fine art museum displaying its permanent collection of works by European masters and American artists such as Botticelli, Rubens, Rembrandt, Degas, Picasso, Homer and Bellows. Antique furnishings and decorative arts are on display. An example of American Renaissance architecture, the house was built 1910-12 for Louis and Charlotte Hyde. Two additional art galleries offer exceptional changing exhibitions throughout the year. Lectures, family programs and concerts are held regularly in the Museum's auditorium and art studio.
