The Pember Museum of Natural History, 33 W. Main St., is a Victorian-period museum housing specimens of birds and mammals, rocks and minerals, shells, eggs and other objects related to natural history. Hiking trails are open year-round at the Pember Hebron Nature Preserve; trail maps are available at the museum. Programs and guided nature hikes are available by appointment. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.

Hours: Preserve grounds open daily dawn-dusk. Museum open Tues.-Fri. 1-5, Sat. 10-3. Closed major holidays.
