Iroquois Indian Museum, off I-88 exit 22, 1.7 mi. e. on SR 7, then 1 mi. n. on Caverns Rd., is devoted to the Iroquois people, their culture and the preservation of their heritage. The museum houses a collection of contemporary Iroquois artwork as well as archeological and historical exhibits. A children's museum contains hands-on exhibits. Nature trails through a 45-acre park are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$8; $6.50 (ages 13-17 and senior citizens); $5 (ages 5-12).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5, May-Oct.; Thurs.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. noon-4, in Apr. and Nov. Closed Easter and Thanksgiving.
