Johnson Hall State Historic Site, .2 mi. w. off SR 29 on Hall Ave., is a 1763 Georgian mansion. The house was a center for Native American trade and negotiations prior to the Revolution.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.

Guided house tours Wed.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 1-5, mid-May to mid-Oct. Last tour departs 1 hour before closing. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 1 hour minimum.
