Just steps away, an outdoor observation deck 350 feet above the Niagara River affords views of the gorge and power plant. Other exhibits highlight solar power, electric vehicles and local history. A mural by Thomas Hart Benton depicts Father Louis Hennepin viewing the falls for the first time.
