Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace National Historic Site, 28 E. 20th St. between Park Ave. S. and Broadway , is the reconstructed boyhood home of the only United States president born in New York City. It was his home 1858-72. Galleries and 1865-period rooms relate the story of young Teddy. The three floors contain items pertaining to Roosevelt's youth, ranch life, presidency and exploring days.
