Pros: Room was great- Love the updated flooring and shower!. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: disappointed in my breakfast at tilleys. I ordered a Belgian waffle which was served to me cold. Also wasn't happy with the servers. They never asked if we needed anything and weren't very pleasant.

Pros: The coffee bar in the lobby. . .with extensive hours. The beautiful indoor pool.
Cons: Ask for an upstairs room. . .the floors are not carpeted and the people walking around their room above you made lots of noise unintentionally.

Pros: Beach and beach service was excellent as well as location. Breakfast eggs and sausage was excellent as well as the locks and beagles my wife enjoyed. Dinner and service was good Anthony at the front desk leadership was outstanding in resolving room problems. other front desk service especially the inexperienced were not up to need especially for this costly resort. Room housekeeping was good. Michael, one of the bell men upon arrival was called to help with our luggage and he went out of his way, even noting a required room change because of front desk messing up the requested room type and location plus the new room keys didn't work and he went for new ones that didn't work so he went for security who came and did something with the lock to make it work.
Cons: Very pricey. Very complex facility not easy to get around. Only outside pool in the next complex next door and a bit far and inconvenient to get to. The parking is atrocious with too many cars for the available spaces and not adequate disability spaces. facility seems to be getting old in a number of areas. Cocktail lounge service and servers not good. Training is missing for a number of service people. Front lobby is very disappointing, unattractive, confused with people going in all directions and very dark, especially for a so advertised fancy top notch sea shore resort. .It room prices are enormously higher than other options which have very close to the the offerings here other than the spa, which is unique here, but others have heated saltwater polls and rooms like full apartments. I think it is becoming more of a convention place albeit our son had his wedding there in 2000 and that was done well then.

Pros: Go here to experience Montauk if budget isn't a concern. Do not go here if you plan on an inexpensive getaway. For those whom fancy quality design aesthetics; Not for those seeking large rooms and cheesy American all-inclusiveness. Our main negative remarks are as follows. CONS -Overlooking a parking lot THEN the beach -Rude poorly informed staff -YMCA - like pool and spa facilities -No club sane itch offered at the beach bar ;) -Poor food at the beach bar PROS -you feel like a celebrity here albit not treated as one -lovely beach and interior details -fantastic dinners at Scarpetta (Gurneys restaurant) but rude waiters -Very friendly Valets WE WILL CONE BACK AGAIN in hopes to be greated and treated a bit more similar to the sheiks and hedge fund millionaires.
