Storm King Art Center, off SR 32 on Old Pleasant Hill Rd., is a 500-acre outdoor sculpture park and museum with more than 100 sculptures, including those on permanent display and some featured in annual exhibitions. The permanent collection contains pieces by Magdalena Abakanowicz, Siah Armajani, Alexander Calder, Mark di Suvero, Maya Lin, Louise Nevelson, Isamu Noguchi and David Smith; exhibitions change annually. Tram and audio tours are available. Bike rentals are available. Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
$15; $12 (ages 65+); $8 (college students with ID and students K-12). Tram fare included. Audio tour $5.
Hours: Wed.-Sun. 10-5:30, Apr. 1 to mid-Nov. (also Sat.-Sun. 5:30-8, Memorial Day-Labor Day); Wed.-Sun. 10-5, mid-Nov. through Nov. 30.
