Genesee Country Village & Museum, 1.2 mi. w. of SR 36 on Flint Hill Rd., occupies 700 acres and has 68 19th-century structures that have been moved from their original sites, restored and authentically furnished. Costumed villagers portray 19th-century daily life, while craftspeople demonstrate spinning, weaving, cooking, tin smithing, coopering and other skills and crafts.
The 1803 Walter Grieve's Brewery sports copper kettles and leather hoses and uses the same brewing practices as the early brewers to create their signature beer. An art gallery features an outstanding historic clothing collection and a nature center includes more than 5 miles of interpretive trails. Trolley transportation is available during events.
