Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History, .7 mi. n. to 6615 SR 97, is an 18th-century stockade with blockhouses, three log cabins, a gun platform, storehouses, a blacksmith shop, an armory, an animal yard and an herb garden. The fort is patterned after the mid-1700s Cushetunk settlement. Guides in period dress present lectures, demonstrations and slide and video shows about Colonial arts and crafts.
Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
