Museum of Jewish Heritage—A Living Memorial to the Holocaust is at 36 Battery Pl. in Battery Park City. Explore modern Jewish history, life, and culture in the museum's core exhibition and special exhibits, where you can learn about the broad tapestry of Jewish life in the 20th and 21st centuries—before, during, and after the Holocaust. The museum tells the story of the Holocaust through first-person histories and personal objects. Other features include the memorial Garden of Stones created by Andy Goldsworthy. The English version of the museum’s free audio tour is narrated by actress Meryl Streep and violinist Itzhak Perlman.
