Temple Emanu-El, Fifth Ave. and 65th St., was founded in 1845 and is one of the world's largest reform synagogues. Completed in 1929, the building features striking architecture, mosaics and stained-glass windows. The Herbert & Eileen Bernard Museum of Judaica houses three galleries of permanent and rotating exhibits. Visitors are welcome to the festivals and a community service offered on high holy days.
