Top of the Rock is atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Rockefeller Center. The entrance is on W. 50th St., between Fifth and Sixth aves. The indoor and outdoor observation decks, located on the 67th, 69th and 70th floors, reopened in 2005 after a 20-year closure and offer unparalleled views of the city. High-speed elevators feature glass ceilings that flash images from the past and highlight the illuminated elevator shaft. There are interactive exhibits on the mezzanine. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$32; $30 (ages 62+); $26 (ages 6-12). Combination ticket with Rockefeller Center Tour $44. Sun and Stars ticket (allows two visits in one day) $47; $36 (ages 6-12).
Hours: Daily 8 a.m.-midnight. Last elevator goes up at 11 p.m.
