AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Eclectic/Unusual): Yes the rooms are as small as can be, but that is why it's called a micro hotel. But the public spaces cleverly shine and that is reason to stay here.
The micro hotel takes another conceptual step forward with this clever and engaging property on SoHo's West Side. Super snug rooms are oh-so tiny, but stellar public lounges and activities excite. With more than a passing nod to Scandinavian design, the dark wood interiors, cool minimalism and modern bathrooms integrated into the guest rooms would not be out of place on an ultra-compact Nordic luxury liner. Ask for a room with a patio for slightly more space. Smoke free premises. 325 units. 10 stories, interior corridors. Bath: shower only. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Location is good and thr young cheerful staff are the highlights of Arlo
Cons: The rooms. The rooms. Too small and so much none at all individual privacy. The rooms might meet a single. Double occupancy is hard.

Pros: nice hotel BUT
Cons: this is a micro hotel - rooms were less than 150 sq feet - this needs to be qualified in the description. very little room for $---/night

Pros: Very clean
Cons: There is no way that a room that doesn't have a private bathroom should be a 4 star. You can sit on the toilet and see the pillows on the bed. Or worse, lay in bed and watch someone take a dump. Not what I'd call a 4 star experience.
