Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location in Times Square and proximity to theatres was great. The room size was very good for the price.
Cons: Many item should in the room did not work - a lamp, one telephone, and the charging device on the bedside table.

Pros: For the most part the staff was very friendly. The waiters in the bar area were excellent, as was the checked baggage bellmen. Guest services personnel were quick to bring up extra conditioner. The beds were comfortable and the room was a decent size. The room safe is large enough to accommodate a laptop and small purse. The hotel is very close to public transportation and a lot of theaters.
Cons: The Times Square View room does not really have a view of Times Square, If you are right up to the window looking out sideways there is a partial view. Do NOT pay extra for this view, it looks nothing like the view in the photos (see my pics of the view from my room). We were also right across from the elevators so were heard a ding every time it arrived. We also heard everyone's conversations as they waited for the elevator. I did receive a message from the manager halfway into the stay offering to "upgrade" my room to a times square view away from the elevators. I am assuming they saw my review on Tripadvisor. Although I appreciate the offer, I am not sure how this could be considered an "upgrade" since I paid extra for the Times Square view. We did not take her up on the offer since it was late and we didn't want to spend our vacation time repacking and unpacking.
