I really like this mid-scale international brand, as they have all the bases covered when it comes to smart functional design.

The US flagship for the international brand is in a well-located tourist-friendly locale, with fairly cozy and nicely stylish rooms. Service is gracious and the small social lobby has a warm mood. Yes the rooms are small here, but there is a convenient daytime-only park which is very nearby where you can take your coffee, and chill out when the mood calls for.
