Great Hotel!
Pros: This hotel was very nice and located in a very convenient area of Manhattan (72nd Street). The staff was equally as nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff and clean!...
Pros: The staff was wonderful. So friendly! We dropped our bags early as our flight arrived in NYC at 730am. They were in our room when we came back that evening. They also surprised us with a chilled bottle of champagne in our room for my wife's 50th birthday! The rooms are very spacious and VERY clean. She loved the slippers and robe. Charming lay out of the floors. Altho the elevator was a bit creaky and so slow.
Cons: The downfalls were being located across the street from a fire station, so both nights we were awoken by VERY LOUD sirens at 3am and 330am. We also could hear the shower running in the room next to us at 1am. I honestly awoke thinking one of my family members were in the shower in our room and left the bathroom door open. And unfortunately we heard every car that beeped their horn due to the air conditioning unit in the window. I understand that in these older buildings this is the only way hotels can provide air conditioning, but it allows for every outside noise to filter in to the room. (And typically I am the type of person who can sleep through a hurricane) I would suggest asking for a courtyard room off the street.
