Pros: Helpful staff Great location Rooms clean and good size
family with young children
Pros: Had a suite- good size. Didn't care for the lack of amenities for the price of the room. Our 'room with a view' was of the side street, not Time Square as described. Staff was VERY nice & courteous- prob the best thing about the stay. Rooftop bar is great, but pricey. Closes at 1 so no late night entertainment. Room was cleaned and refreshed daily, but removed the sheet on last day to find hairs on the mattress pad ( many ) when packing to leave
Cons: No vending/mini bar for snacks once restaurant closes. VERY basic menu in restaurant. It's just a very basic hotel with 4-5* pricing. Good location if you want to access Time Square. No top sheet on bed- only a comforter- kinda nasty... Especially after finding the hairs on the mattress pad.
mature couple
Pros: The closeness to the Theatres and my work place
Cons: The security, was the worse I've encountered with a hotel. We we relaxing in our room on a Saturday afternoon, someone knocked on the door my husband went to answer it, when he opened the door this lady tried to barge into our room. There was a scuffle between my husband and the intruder, when she saw me she panicked, she pleaded with me not to call security. I called security, once the came we had to ask them "Who they were". After speaking with him, he showed my husband the person on their iPad, and informed us she was in the stairwell. Apparently she had interacted with security before she entered the elevator, to come to the 31st floor. The Manager on duty came to see us, asked us what can he do, only offered to move us to a different room. He went as far to ask my husband if he knew her, such an insult. He mentioned when some business man visit they have "call girls" come and visit them at their hotel and maybe she was one of them and got the wrong room. Security is suppose to ask you to show your room key, we had been there from Thursday they had never asked to show our key, after the incident on Saturday, they were asking. They never caught the lady, she walked out if the hotel just as easy as she walked in. The Manager, mentioned he was going to write up an incident report, after numerous calls and a couple of emails we were told we cannot get a copy, it's their policy not to give guest a copy. My question, "was the incident report ever written up". Be aware they have "call girls" visiting this hotel and their security is very slack ...
