Not great, not clean.
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: Not clean, slow elevator, staff ok but not pleasant nor helpful and our room was very noisy due to construction on the street. They did not let us know about it ahead of time, via email or before/while we checked in.

I didn't see the room because I rented it for my nephew who brought his girlfriend to town to propose. When I mentioned this to the front desk agent (Denise), she smiled and said, "Let me see what I can do for them." She then picked up the phone and clattered away at her keyboard, and a couple minutes later said, "We upgraded them to a high floor with a much better view." Really terrific that a) she volunteered; and, b) she got it done.

Crowded lobby and busy staff but was fine overall. Bed was comfy but room was quite small. Glad I was traveling alone as two people would be quite crowded.
Pros: Location close to train station
Cons: Doors were thin so hallway noise was loud and woke me up several times during the night due to people talking and laughing.

Pros: friendly staff; room size was good (especially for a NYC hotel)
Cons: billing error (incorrectly charged for internet) which was instantly fixed with a quick phone call; it was very easy to hear noise from the next room and street noise from Lexington Ave was quite loud even on the 9th floor. I still slept fine, however.
