Pros: The rooms were efficiently designed, the lobby/bar a nice place to meet up with others. the location is perfect. I appreciate that they don't automatically strip and replace sheets and towels, which is a needless waste of energy. Nevertheless, clean linens and towels were provided when the need was indicated.
Cons: I wish that check in was earlier than 4pm, and that wifi reception was better.

Pros: Modern, well presented hotel. A 5-10 minute walk to the nearest subway so a good location for those who do not wish to stay too central. Nice lounge and bar area. Comfortable beds.
Cons: We decided to treat ourselves to a 'Panoramic Room' for our anniversary which was quite disappointing. The room allocated to us was a lot smaller than represented in the photos and the view was of a building under construction on the opposite side of the road. Not the 'panoramic' city or river view we were expecting. After asking to move to a bigger room with a better view, the following night we were given a slightly bigger room which had a restricted view due to their being a big concrete column blocking one of the large windows. The view was slightly better as this room was facing Broadway so we could see a small part of the Hudson River, however if we were to stay there again we would not bother upgrading to this type of room as it was not the worth the extra money for the small part of the river that we could see. The furniture in the room was pretty basic and there were no tea making facilities, only a coffee machine.
