An unpretentious, residential-style elegance permeates this luxury hotel, articulated in both antiqued bronze chandeliers and fine marble finishes. Rooms are amply sized and graciously appointed. In the early 1940s Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein began their working relationship here, meeting at the hotel to discuss the creation of their first classic musical, “Oklahoma!”.
