An unpretentious, upscale residential-feel permeates this luxury hotel, articulated in both antiqued bronze chandeliers and fine marble finishes. Rooms are amply sized and graciously appointed. In the early 1940s Broadway legends Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein began their working relationship here, meeting regularly at the hotel to discuss the creation of their first classic musical, “Oklahoma!”.
