Very good value for the location. We've stayed at our hotels nearby ('W' and Hyatt at Union Square) and prices do fluctuate from season to season. At this time - April - the price was excellent. This ranked favorably with the better hotels in the area.
Pros: There's a rooftop bar with great views and a good restaurant connected to the hotel on the bottom floor. Excellent breakfast. The neighborhood is called 'Curry Hill' because of all the good Indian restaurants. You're a few blocks from Madison Park and the Flatiron building. Good shopping on Broadway nearby. 6 Train is only a block from the hotel.
Cons: The only problem we had was the cleaning service. For some reason they never replenished the Keurig coffee pods, tissues, toilet paper or clean towels. Not sure why there was an oversight. We stayed in the Executive size room and that was a good size. There are smaller rooms for a little less money, but they do look small.

We had a great time!...
Pros: The staff was great and had great suggestions for extra things to do!
Cons: Room keys did not work several times. Also, almost all the tables in Covina (the house restaurant) were reserved and hotel guests had difficulty getting seated for brunch.
